Adrienne Pagan

President

Adrienne is the President of EMS. She’s home grown, born and raised in Tampa Bay, where she attended Tampa Catholic High School, and went on to the University of South Florida to earn her bachelors and master’s degree in accountancy.

She then spent 4 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, the largest accounting and professional service firm in the world serving several Tampa based healthcare and financial service clients.

In 2008, she joined EMS, where she has successfully led all aspects of the business, including customer revenue management and operations, client service, business development, talent management, and healthcare compliance.

Mayra Perez

Founder and Chairman

Mayra is the Founder and Chairman of EMS. She has over 40 years of leadership experience in the non-clinical healthcare space, broadly spanning all aspects of practice management earlier in her career, and culminating in a leadership role at one of the largest medical billing companies in the United States.

She’s a proven leader intimate with all operational, commercial, and financial aspects of the medical billing and revenue cycle space. She founded EMS in 2001 with the vision of building an ethical, highly competent company obsessed with service excellence. And in nearly 20 years has grown the company from 1 client and 1 employee, to over 30 clients and 15 employees covering over a dozen specialties in the West Coast of Florida.
